Tom Boleska Lynchburg

Hey guys back again I posted last year asking about Tom and I was wondering what the chances are he gets a promotion to AA before the end of the season. He has battled injuries once again this year but has given up just 1 ER in 21 1/3 innings. with opponents hitting just .224 against him and 2 bb. I watched him pitch in college and he has good stuff, hopefully he can stay healthy long enough to work his way through the system and who knows maybe become a long relief guy at some point. Just wondering if anyone had seen him or anything. Thanks.

His injuries are holding him back

otherwise he’d be in Altoona or even Indy. His stuff is that good.

I’d say he’ll start in Altoona next season and as long as stays out of the injury list could be in the majors the next year.

first i ve heard of him

looked at his stats, which looked pretty impressive (small sample size warning)

can others shed any light on him?

He’s posted good numbers everywhere he’s stopped so far. Other than that, I don’t really know much about him. Here’s WTM’s page…it probably has more info on him than anywhere else you’ll find.

RH relievers have a tough road ahead of them...

…but that’s one hell of a stat line. If he can stay healthy, and keep pitching like that, then sooner or later he’ll get a shot with somebody.
