NY-Penn League All-Star Game

The NY-Penn League All-Star Game will be in State College next Wednesday, and the league announced the rosters today.  Brock Holt (2009 ninth-round pick from Rice), who leads the team in hits (46) and HR (6), will be playing second base for the NL.  RHP Philip Irwin (2009 21st-round pick from Mississippi), who has an 0.41 ERA in 22 IP, and RHP Zachary Foster (2008 49th-round pick from Pitt-Bradford), who has a 1.10 ERA in 16.1 IP, also made the NL team.

With a 27-25 record, the Spikes already have nine more wins than they had in last year's 18-56 disaster.
