I am currently watching the Yankees Mariners and the announcers mentioned that Joba Chamberlin will sit for eight day after today so that he does not wear down his arm. That got me thinking about the recent Morton debacle. I did not see the game, but did Russell really overpitch Morten? If so what the heck are the Pirates doing. The Yankees are resting their young arms. The only purpose for the rest of the season should be getting ready for next year. Any thoughts?
