of a manager is John Russell?  He has no concept how to use a bullpen and no feel at all for his pitchers. Watching him perform against someone like LaRussa is laughable. Totally outclassed and outmanaged. What logic is there in hitting Duke in the bottom of the 7th only to yank him after one out in the 8th after he gives up one lightly-hit, well-placed single. Didn't he think that LaRussa was going to pinch hit with a lefty soon as Capps came in? How many games is he going to cost us by butchering game after game? He is truly clueless.
