The Worst is Yet to Come
Dejan on Friday's game against the league's best team:
Jeff Karstens will start tomorrow. He was chosen, John Russell just said, "because he's done it before." Russell is hoping to get 4-5 innings out of Karstens. After that, he will choose from Donnie Veal, Denny Bautista, Steven Jackson, Chris Bootcheck or Eric Hacker.
Words fail me. Unfortunately, I have to type 75 words, so here it is:
Oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit.
Wake me when it's over.

John russell is a dope
Cause Kartens’s done it before?, yup, that is a good reason.
I don’t care who this team acquires, or dumps before 2010.
If this current jackass, aka manager, is still in charge, they will have the same or even worse results next year.
Cut the cord with this guy, he has no upside, to ever, ever, be a competent major league manager.
If a team of hungry, 1st and 2nd year major league players won’t play hard ,at least attempt to play hard, for him, how will more seasoned major league players perform?
Every one knows FC or NH, have kind of said 1 thing, then done another.
Surely, if they could label Nate as a core guy, and then ship him off, they can do the same with this manager, and a few of his coaches(the only ones to retain, are probably gone anyhow).
Start from scratch , with new leadership.
They have done it at the major league level, and this clown has shown, he is not the one to lead them to the next level.
JUst cut the cord, and watch the exciting environment in spring training in 2010, when a new set of eyes(and a brain) is running this team.
Not like Russell is a commodity with any type of upside.
Cecil Cooper got the hook, not that he is any better than what the Pirates have, but at least Houston seems to get more out of their team then the Pirates do.
Yes, i know they have some all stars, but they also have pride.
Get rid of John Russell, he’s the worst game strategy manager in the majors as we speak.
Don’t want to hear, about the ever changing roster, and the lack of talent on it.
This guy could have an all star lineup, wouldn’t matter.
Listen up, NH , FC, and BN, can you honesty say, this is the GUY you want to lead the GROUP, you are starting to assemble?
If you say yes, then you don’t care, plain and simple.

I'm not a big fan of Russell...
but it’s not like he has a lot of starting pitching options left right now. And, dude, what’s with the new style of paragraph indention?

I think that Tom's posts...
…are generated by some sort of automated process. You tell it how much copy it needs, and it just strings together expressions of disappointment, illogical shots at Russell, and irrelevant non sequiturs.
Kind of like the Peter Gammons Diamond Notes generator, only not as entertaining.

I think I know where the idea for the Aramis Ramirez trade came from now.

Give tom p
a little credit. He’s discovered paragraphs, such as they are.
Free your ass and your mind will follow.

You literally can’t get worse that 3 wins per month. That’s the reason why I’m optimistic that the team will do better than the last streak at least. Things are bound to even out. Kids will get better.
Say hello to the Bad Guy!
