ESPN: The 17-year nightmare is almost over
It's an Insider article, so I can only summarize, but it's a nice piece in part of ESPN's "Hot Stove U" series. The subheading is "TOPIC: WHY THE PITTSBURGH PIRATES HAVE MLB'S BEST ORGANIZATIONAL PLAN." It's basically a summary of what we already know, but it's nice to see.

I just read that...
it’s nice to see a major source have something positive to say after the Madden and Smizik crap. Unfortunately the almost over means 2013. Oh well, what’s another couple of years waiting for relevant baseball.
I think 2012 is more realistic
But as the article states, it’s been 17 years, what’s a couple more?
