bucs interview 2 for manager

The Pirates have interviewed Pittsburgh native and former Brewers manager Ken Macha. They also met with longtime Pirate employee Jeff Banister. Macha was with the Oakland A's before the Brewers. He has been passed over several times for manager of the Pirates, including after the 2000 season. banister, has been with the bucs in one form or another for 25 years. he has been a player, minor league manager and coaches in the minors. he had a callup mid year this year for the bucs. he replaced bench coach gary varsho. this raises the tally bar for the managerial position to 5 or 6. we don't actually know what avs was for, maybe a coach.

so cross wedge off the list.the official karremofwheat poll winner will be seattles new manager.
