Octavio Dotel Back to the Bucs?

Buster Olney tweets this morning that the Rockies are not expected to pick up the option on either Jeff Francis ($7 million) or Octavio Dotel ($4.5 million).

Neal Huntington's trade of Dotel for James McDonald and Andrew Lambo certainly goes down as an absolute steal for Huntington and could end up being one of the great deals in Pirates history if either player continues to develop as hoped.

I wonder if Dotel would consider returning to the Pirates as the 7th inning guy next year for a couple million bucks? It would immediately solidify most bullpen questions and with Chris Resop and a few other additions could again make it a strength going into the season. Dotel certainly isn't going to get an opportunity to close somewhere next year, so $2-3 million would seem to be on the higher end of any salary he might command.
