Adding a top flight free agent is out of the question, so why not sign guys like Troy Glaus, Elijah Dukes, Rodrigo Lopez, Noah Lowry, etc. They're all coming off down seasons or haven't played, they're all cheap, and they're all good trade chips if they have a good year. I think if they sign 3 of these guys, at least 1 will have a good year. Their year is in 2012, so if you can flip a guy for pieces that are going to help us in 2012, I'm all for it. I doubt Niel Huntington will get us anything more than James Loney or Kevin Millwood. I would really like if they signed Garret atkins or Conor Jackson. The onley problem with signing these guys is that we are crowded at first and the outfield [although most of its just depth] so we would have to deal Garret Jones, wich I think for a top prospect or a major league pitcher with upside would be great, or non-tender Milledge,Who in my mind had a good season. Tell me what you think!!!
