Just saw that Jeff Francoeur became a free agent. He might make a good platoon partner in right field for Garrett Jones, as they mention that Jeff Francoeur has struggled against righties. Also plays good defense. I know that the bat seems a bit inconsistent (either very good or not so good). But I like the power numbers, he doesn't strike out a whole lot, and he might be very well served by being in a straight platoon situation. He's got a career .299 average lifetime against lefties (including a .481 slugging pct & .824 OPS). (If I'm Neal Huntington, I'm already on the phone with his agent). Do we have a winner??
