I thought this was worth noting, from MLB Rumors. According to Rosenthal, Pirates are making a push for Hurdle. He speculates that due to the Mets drawn out process and the fact that Hurdle doesn't seem to be No. 1 on the Mets list, that Hurdle might be willing accept Pirates job without waiting for Met situation to play out.
