Dejan Kovacevic thinks Aneury Rodriguez of the Rays could be the Pirates' Rule 5 pick. Rodriguez was available last year and no one took him, but I liked the idea of picking him last year, and I would still be happy with it this year. Rodriguez, who turns 23 last week, pitched most of last season as a starter at Class AAA Durham and struck out 94 batters there in 113 innings, although he struggles with control. He doesn't have much of a changeup, however, which could make him a bullpen guy in the long term.
