Don't Forget Our

Sud Afrikan shortstop, Hope (last name forgotten). Could he be the next Ozzie Smith?

Were our two Indian pick-ups cricket players? At least they would have the general concept of throw the ball so the batter doesn’t hit it…

Ok, so we Hope...

he’s a Gift to the Pirates…I blame this on

a) old age
b) lead in the water in Korea
c) being kicked in the head by a mule
d) all of the above

Well, as the old saying goes: you can never be too careful around a Korean mule.

Of our prospects from unusual locations...

…I’m probably the most excited about Dovydas Neverauskas, the Lithuanian you mentioned. He’s got good velocity for a 16-year-old, good bloodlines, and a projectable frame. Ngoepe is also a solid prospect, though still very raw.

As far as Latin prospects from outside the typical DR/Venezuela hotspots, we’ve got Jorge Bishop from Panama and Jonathan Barrios from Colombia, who are both worth watching.
