I just saw that MLB Trade Rumors (via Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald) is reporting that the Bucs claimed Hayden Penn of waiver from the Marlins. He's 25 and out of options. He was always pretty highly regarded as a prospect from what I can remember, and last year put up a decent strike out rate in AAA. I wonder what the Bucs' plan is for him. Bullpen help perhaps? Thoughts? Ideas? Comments?
