Maholm's start

Jeter got a hit, Granderson walked, and Crosby didn’t do anything with a Winn grounder. A-Rod to bat with bases loaded.

Minor correction:

I think the Yankees’ DH is actually named P.J. Pilittere .

nice

I was typing the Yankees lineup as they were announcing it on the radio.

I don't blame you for missing it.

He’s an obscure organizational player from the system of a team in the other league. 28-year-old catcher, spent 2009 backing up at AA and AAA. I only noticed because I went to look him up, and I only went to look him up because I’d never heard of him.

These game update threads are much appreciated. They give me a way to follow when I’m at work, and can’t listen to the audio.

cool

sometimes I’m too busy to post one even though I’m listening. I’ll definitely keep it up then if it provides some entertainment.

If you don’t mind me asking.

He’s running against Joe Wilson in South Carolina’s 2nd District.
