relievers

After watching the game today, I hope Russell sticks with his current thought process regarding his use of relievers.  The biggest out of the game, in my opinion, came in the 7th inning, when Hanrahan was brought on with 2 outs and a guy on 3rd base (struck out Owings to end the inning).  I'd much rather see Hanrahan pitch in high leverage situations such as this one than to assume the 'closer' role and come into the game in the 9th with a 3 run lead an nobody on base.  At this point, I trust Hanrahan much more than I do Dotel (and Donnelly for that matter).  I'm not sure if JR knows Hanrahan is his best relief pitcher and is knowingly using him to get the most important outs or not.  Regardless, the strategy is smart and is working quite well thus far (though in 2 weeks Hanrahan may implode and make this argument look stupid)
