Is it to soon to ask if it really makes any sense to consider replacing a 3B who is hitting 380 who is better defensively (maybe by a wide margin) with a 3B who is hitting .237?  I don't think anyone would argue the Andy is better defensively, but even if you assumed they were equal Andy is still the better player at this point.  Probably by a farily wide margin.

Compare them offensivlely:

Andy - .380/356/520 with 8 SOs (~16/100 ABs, 2 HRs, 50 AB)

Pedro - 237/.318/421 with 22 SOs (~27/100 ABs, 4 HRs, 76 AB)

I'm excited for Pedro to join the Bucs.  I saw him last year in NH for a few games and am going to see him (mainly) on Fri.  But at this point, I think it's pretty obvious that Andy is a better player.  I don't think Pedro will be up in June (never have) I think Sep is probably a best case.  I just don't think he's ready.  In the mean time this Pirate team has a lot of problems and 3B is not one of them.
