Today's game was a good glimpse of what I expect from our Bucs. We had lots of people step up on offense, Garrett Jones 2 HRs, Ryan Doumit a HR and 3 RBIs, Ryan Church a 3-run 2B, a big RBI double for Lastings Milledge, and some speed displayed on the stolen bases by Andrew McCutchen and Ronny Cedeno. And aside from Carrasco (who I still like and think will be an influential and important arm in the bp) our pitching was spectacular. I think the Evan Meek to Brendan Donnelly to Octavio Dotel is really going to work. I might be overly optimistic but let me remind you all that these are the very Dodgers who won the NL West last year, and have a manager who had the Yankees as the best team in the league in the late 90s and early 2000s. This was an impressive victory over a good team, that is likely returning to the playoffs. .500 is still in my opinion going to happen before you know it.
