Johnny Cueto One-Hits Pirates
Yuck--I'm really glad I had school duties to attend to. Ronny Cedeno mustered the Pirates' only hit, on a grounder. At least Charlie Morton wasn't a disaster.
In the minors, Hayden Penn posted six strikeouts and a quality start, but Indianapolis lost 7-5 to Rochester. Altoona lost 3-2 in a game that was completed after five. Jeff Locke posted 6.2 quality innings in Bradenton's shutout of Daytona. And West Virginia was off.

Ignoring the Pirates . . .
is there really any reason to keep Diego Moreno in the Florida State League? Three more ks last night in an inning and a third.
