Brad Lincoln and his 12 - 6 curveball went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs for the Pirates' AAA team in Indianapolis. I've edited the video to show his entire outing in 14 minutes.
Lincoln is the Pirates' top pitching prospect near enough to the majors to see action in Pittsburgh this year. He's likely to get the call up in June or July.
What success do you think Lincoln would have in MLB right now with his stuff?
Innings 1 - 5... Lincoln has warning track fly balls in the first, but then cruises with many Ks through 5.
Innings 6 - 7...Lincoln runs into trouble in the 6th and gives up a 3 run jack, but his outing ends strong.
