Its good to see that there is so much thought into who and when some of these future Pirates are going to be called up.  Lately, Ive been thinking about all the different scenarios that could happen in the next year or two for this lineup and this is my latest conclusion.

I assume the Pirates brass like what they see from LaRoche and want to keep him in the starting lineup.  Clement/Pearce don't pan out and G.Jones fades out sooner rather than later.  LaRoche with a much better glove than Alvarez stays at 3B and Alvarez moves to 1B.

The obvious at C is Tony Sanchez, no need to go any further here IMO.

At 2B the Pirates use any of the following: Walker/Diaz/Harrison/D'Arnaud/Mercer.  And at SS the Pirates have Cedeno/Diaz/D'Arnaud/Mercer.  Personally it looks like a spring battle between all of these guys over the next few years which may be a good thing to keep them all in shape and to keep them in check to know there is someone behind them that may take there job if they dont preform.

The OF looks set for the most part.  McCutchen in CF, Tabata in RF, Milledge,Marte,Hernandez or FA in LF.  Personally, Im a Gorkys fan and we do have quite a large LF at PNC park and Gorkys does have the speed if he would ever learn to hit but whatever LF is up for grabs IMO.

The problem I have is that it seems like the lineup is full of righties and one lefty, Alvarez..  So for discussion what does everyone think of a potential lineup a few years down the line because there appear to be a lot of options.
