Tabata and Alvarez up on the squad.  This is a good chance to showcase some of our talent to the nation.  It seems like it probably won't happen (at least for Pedro) but I thought this would be a good time to bring them up.  They would be facing a pitcher with great stuff but he is by no means an established major league pitcher and i would assume pretty nervous and easy to rattle on that first start.

also, i really dont understand how this works, the nats signed strasburg to a 4yr contract, does that mean they only have four years of control over him or what?  i really dont know how contract length works coming out of the draft since i thought everyone has the same rule to be arbitration eligible and what not...
