Pirates trade Uviedo for Dana Eveland

Eveland is a lefty and has been used primarily as a starter in his career, though he spent about half of 2005 in the Brewers bullpen. He's 26 years old and has struggled at the major league level. A 40 man move and a 25 man move will need to be made as he's out of options. 5.66 ERA 1.73 WHIP 6.1 K/9 4.7 BB/9 UPDATE: Turns out Ronald Uviedo was traded for Eveland, rather than it being a waiver claim. That makes the move look a lot different. Dejan kind of whiffed on that one.
