Jeff Clement sitting again!

Clement was out of the lineup in favor of Crosby yesterday.  Seemed ridiculous, but there was a LHP on the mound and they seem to be opposed to playing him against lefties now.  Fine, whatever.  Now today they're facing a righty (Zambrano) and Clement is sitting again, this time in favor of RYAN CHURCH.  Their stats are basically identical this season, and Church is 5 full years older.

How badly can they mishandle the guy?  He's finally looked pretty solid recently in his starts against RHP, and even looked pretty decent against lefty Ted Lilly yesterday as well.  Took two balls early, then fouled off a bunch of two strike offerings.    Of course that won him a spot on the bench again.

I really don't understand what they can possibly gain by having Clement watch games from the dugout.  The guy needs to be playing games somewhere, whether it's AAA or the majors.
