.....of a flaming piece of donkey dung are both Ronny Cedeno and Ryan Church?   I'm not sure what is worse...the fact that Cedeno will swing at anything within two feet of the plate or that Church is an automatic strike out versus a left handed pitcher.  Actually, what is worse is that our peabrained manager keeps sending Church up in crucial situations late in the game to face lefties.  Actually, what is even worse is that these two guys are still on our roster. I assure you that on no other major league team would either player still be occupying a spot after their pathetic lack of discipline at the plate. How many first pitch hacks is Cedeno gonna take?  How many balls in the dirt is he going to chase before they send him to his rightful place at AAA?  How many passes does Ryan Church get for chasing the same down and away pitch in every single at bat?  

How can a team that is trying to mold young players into winners send such a poor message to them by rewarding a player who refuses to play the game properly with at bat after at bat?
