Eric Fryer Hit In Face, Needs Surgery
Are the Pirates' minor leaguers cursed this year, or what? First Tony Sanchez gets hit in the face and needs surgery, and now his backup gets hit and needs surgery.

Wow.
If we weren’t talking about guys getting hit in the face by pitches, I’d think this was funny, just due to the improbability of it.
Anyone know who catches for Bradenton now – assuming they can actually get someone to do it?
Hey, an out is an out - unless you're Mario, in which case it's probably two outs. -UtesFan89
Hard work always beats talent if talent doesn't work hard.
They have two more catchers...
Andrew Walker and James Skelton. Walker has been in Bradenton since the beginning of the year, Skelton was sent up to Altoona for a couple of weeks in June, but was sent back to the Marauders after not seeing much playing time with the Curve.
