I was looking for some information on the Verducci Effect as we were discussing Bryan Morris having his innings limited today in a fan post, and this is the article I came across.

The names on the list I find slightly interesting are the predictors (Joba). Also on the list is Dana Eveland. Is it possible that NH feels he can recover from this if he is given enough time to rest? Cole Hamels, who was subject to a fall off last year, has an ERA+ of 122 this year, somewhere between his awesome 2008 season and last year's drop off. Liriano is a 3.2 WAR pitcher already this year (his ROY season was a 4.0 season). John Danks went from a 135 ERA+ to 123, but is now up around 130, and on pace to exceed his WAR from last year.
My question to y'all being, with Dana Eveland a victim of the Verducci Effect, (in the last two seasons, he has put up a -WAR number greater than his WAR number in his top season, 2007), can he recover given time?
