Pirate Prospects is at it again. They just broke the news of UVA outfielder Dan Grovatt has just signed, although the terms of the deal are unknown. According to the article, they did make some concessions to allow him to finish his education over the course of the next few years. 

So what does this mean in terms of the big picture of draft signings? Well, I don't know that I Kubitza will sign now, I think they've used they money they would have given him and gone else where with it.
