Blacked out in Tennessee again tonight

but will try to visualize the radio show…I already have an idea in my head what’s
going to happen, so I’ll be OK..

Changeup is working OK, but let’s hope he’s able to put a curveball over sooner rather than later. He’ll need to have that pitch come the second, third time through the order.

Oh come on…McDonald didn’t get that pitch

Slightly interesting stat...

Today, pitcher Dylan Gee made his big-league debut for the Mets, against the Nationals. Gee recorded his first career base hit before giving up a hit to the Nats. Kinda funny.

It’s kind of ironic that Skinny Mac’s pitched 6 shutout innings on the night his peripherals have been worse than in any other start. He’s coming out for the 7th but I think that’s a bad move.

I'm still of the mind

That we trot him out there. He’s got great stuff, but at this point in the season, I think it’s a good idea to run him out there and try to get him to learn how to extend starts, get out of jams, etc. This is one of the few places I agree w/ JR

Welcome back Negative Nancy

I’d love to say how much I missed you, but….

by Trogluddite on Sep 7, 2010 8:44 PM EDT up reply actions

I hope not.

he’s already over 100 pitches

by BlindSquirrel on Sep 7, 2010 8:45 PM EDT up reply actions

108 pitches…I don’t think he’ll come back out

by poorboywilly on Sep 7, 2010 8:46 PM EDT up reply actions

it would be nice if we could give him some run support…

This may be Walker’s last chance to extend his streak. I’m guessing we bring in Park next inning.

by shayborg on Sep 7, 2010 8:45 PM EDT reply actions

I’d go with Resop and Hanrahan. Maybe that’s wrong baseball manager form, but who cares.

by Adam Reynolds on Sep 7, 2010 8:47 PM EDT up reply actions

Resop’s hurt, right? I thought he had a tired arm or something. Meek is warming up according to the broadcast.

Cocktails

just to follow up above, but the guy stuck in the chimney was stuck there for about 16 years.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative vibes?!

by Trogluddite on Sep 7, 2010 8:51 PM EDT reply actions

There was just a story

of a woman in England that was similar, but she was only there about 2-3 years, IIRC.

Moylan is tough against righties, so it made sense. Now that they brought in a lefty I hope JR counters with one of the 30 he has on the bench.
