The pitchers and catchers aren't in camp yet, the biggest free agents are signed, and the biggest surprise that could happen between now and the start of the season is Anna Benson coming out of retirement to serve as tema masseaus. (Sorry, if that's spelled wrong, I don't get any squiggly lines under words when I post.) So why not do a social anthropology type poll?
As most here know, I'm a prodigal Pirates fan returning to my long-lost baseball home. To follow the Pirates, I had to transition from the local media (Johnstown Tribune Democrat and the nightly local news) to national baseball or sports-specific media like The Sporting News and the USA Today Baseball Weekly or Sports Illustrated. Now I'm closer to home (still trapped in $%@!% New York), but thanks to the miracle of the something called "the internet," I can follow the Pirates year round again. And I realized, when I want my Pirates news, I don't go straight to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette or ESPN, but instead, the FIRST thing I read is Bucs Dugout. And so I'm curious - where does everyone get their Pirates fix?
