Hey, what do you know? There are some Pirates out there playing actual baseball. Robbie Grossman went 2-for-4 with a walk and wind-aided homer (and wind-aided, or not, I'll take it, and Jarek Cunningham went 0-for-4, as Mesa (that's the team Pirates prospects are on) lost to Phoenix, 12-8. Phil Irwin pitched 2.1 innings and allowed a long home run to Anthony Gose and another homer to Michael Choice.
UPDATE: Grossman is 2-for-2 with another homer so far today. Keith Law on this one:
