It makes perfect sense in that it makes no sense. The Pirates will sign Grady Sizemore. We can rebuild him. We can make him better. We can make him faster. He has had surgery 5 times in the last three years. Groin, knees, it doesn't matter it's a given. We let Doumit and Snyder go because their injury prone and then go out and sign the $6 million man. I don't know where he will play, maybe 1B? He last played there in Junior High, good enough. Maybe he can fill in as a fourth outfielder. Or maybe, just maybe Cutch gets traded and he plays Centerfield everyday, well at least for a month before running into a perogi. Grady is a great player when healthy and he can be had on the cheap after two woeful seasons. Come on Nutt make it happen!
