No

I’m still holding out hope somebody in Comedy Central will hire him some day.

Obviously a diversity interview.

He meant diversity

as in mixing in some imbeciles along with the candidates who have functioning brains.

Anybody who works for Angelos had best be prepared to be spineless, however.

If I get paid enough, I can be spineless.

Yikes

I heard that the O’s are considering Dan Duquette, the Sox GM prior to Theo. That would be a pretty good choice, and compared to DL it would be brilliant.

Well, as MLB Trade Rumors reported it....
Former Pirates GM Dave Littlefield, who was relieved of his duties in September 2007, came up in conversation….

I envision that conversation went something like this….

P. Angelos: We need to get moving on this, so we can get free agents and make trades.

Unidentified Staffer: If you just want a warm body, we could get Dave Littlefield.

P. Angelos: My heart! My heart. It’s too soon!!

Unidentified Telephone Voice: This is 911, what is your emergency.

Unidentified Staffer: We have a 69-year old male having an apparent heart attack….

What does that mean?!
