the new draft rules will absolutely crush the Buccos. Considering there is only several of the teams that can afford to pay the money the Yanks, BoSox, Marlins, Angels, etc have on proven players, the Pirates only had the draft. Maybe Bud Selig has some serious dementia setting in and he took the calls for an even playing field as a desire to make the draft even for everybody. I love the Pirates, but I hate the mlb.
