Jim Edmonds Retires

He was never a Pirate, but he was a great player in the N.L. Central. (Actually, he ended up playing for every N.L. Central team except the Bucs and Astros.) He finishes his career with 393 homers and a 132 OPS+. I suspect that he won't make the Hall of Fame because his counting stats aren't that impressive and because he never led the league in anything, but I think a very strong case could be made based on his offensive skills and his defense.
