Where to watch college baseball?
First, I apologize if this thing ends up in the wrong place, i.e. - posted on bucsduout.com's main page. I was just curious if anyone knew if there were any channels or specific cable packages or any sites online that may stream college baseball regular season games. With Anthony Rendon looking like our first pick, I think I'd like to see him play a little bit before June rolls around. I tried Rice's Athletic site but you have to pay for a subscription and I don't think I'll be able to watch enough to warrant paying. Also, I'd be interested in seeing other teams as well.
Thanks.

I don’t know about WATCHING games, but Brian over at Raise the Jolly Roger is supposedly going to keep this spreadsheet.

ESPN3
They usually have a ton of college baseball. I can access it because my Internet provider is Frontier. Depending on your provider, you may be able to access it “free” (i.e., as part of your ISP charge). Here’s a list of participating providers. Comcast and Time Warner are among them.
Thanks all...
I’ve looked into ESPN3. That may be my best bet.
I'm getting hard on myself, sitting in my easy chair.
"In person" is always an option worth considering, too.
Where do you live? If you’re in Pittsburgh, you may be SOL on Rice, but they do have a decent footprint for road games as far as southern states are concerned: Alabama, Arizona, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, and North Carolina.
The Rice Owls schedule and results
are at this link: http://www.riceowls.com/sports/m-basebl/sched/rice-m-basebl-sched.html. You can click on each game and get the box score; that page has another link for play-by-play results. The Annointed One went 3-for-5 in the Owls last game, finally getting (I believe) his first extra base hit, a double.
"Who is John Galt?"
I would ALWAYS recommend in person
But I’m a biased SEC fan. I know that the USC (South Carolina. Google it.) does at least radio broadcasts on their website and I’m pretty sure they stream TV too. But I can’t speak for any other university
The glare of the spotlight is harsh, and the pressure that success breeds immense. We revere our heroes, but expect much. And criticism can come as easily as praise.
Well, where I live,
Alex Box Stadium is a good place to catch games. :-)
Seriously though, Cox Commu. Cable has a sports channel that televises quite a number of college games. So,…check your local provider.
