Rangers CEO Chuck Greenberg to resign

Didn't see that one coming. Greenberg, of course, is the Pittsburgh-based attorney who moved the Spikes to State College, formerly owned the Altoona Curve, and had at one time attempted to purchase the Pirates. From published reports, it seems that Greenberg's departure is a result of friction between him and other members of the ownership group, including Nolan Ryan. The situation is still extremely unsettled, however.
