In his blog Dejan said
I think Pedro Ciriaco will make the team, which I didn't think before (and I don't think the Pirates anticipated, either). They like his defense a lot, especially the arm, and they're convinced he has the strength to eventually do more than hit to the opposite field. I'm not, but we'll see.
If this is correct it pretty much answers what will happen to Josh Rodriguez and Corey Wimberly. Rodriguez will be waived, and Wimberly will be sent to the minors. The big question is whether Ciriaco really can use his speed to be somewhat useful offensively. His Marcel wOBA is 345, which would be fine. But that's not the most reliable forecast.
Do we yet have any insight into Bowker, Pearce, Marte, or Atkins?
