Rob Biertempfel has a couple of Twitter updates regarding the injury statuses of Chris Snyder and James McDonald. First, he notes that Snyder's locker in Bradenton was cleared out this morning, suggesting that Snyder is definitely going on the DL. Second, McDonald pitched a bullpen session today without any problem and will pitch in a simulated game on Thursday. After that, the Pirates will have a clearer sense of whether he'll be ready to pitch to start the season.
