Pirates season ahead

Yes, Even Meek is alive. Yes, I will be posting alot of interesting topics[not]. Yes, the pirates will win the world series.

Anyhoo, Corriea pitched a solid game today and hes beginning to make me think that Zach Duke never existed[until he gives up 5 runs]. Walker had an excellent game and it just goes to show that our core four is so impreesive, our best power hitter can strike out twice and go 0-4 and still get 6RBI and a couple big flys. Ryan Doumit played a solid game and matched his previous season record in runners thrown out. Hanrahan got his first save, and it was a solid game overall.

However, it still looks like Cedeno is goibng to stay inconsistent. He dived over the ball wich could of been an out, he stood there doing nothing when they had what seemed like 10 infield hits from popups, and he nearly got an error on the last out of the game. But it was the hitting that stood out the most. You got a 20 HR and 80 RBI guy and then you got a bag of peanuts. I just hope to god that d'Arnaud or someone else comes in to get this bum out of the lineup.

Don't forget...

Alvarez is on pace to steal 162 bases this season!

but

0 hits. Let’s not go there! I’d prefer 30 HRs, and that can be the last SB.

Ronny looked good.

It’s a new year, and I can’t bash him until he looks bad.

Both those pop ups are Alvarez’s responsibility.

Now

the gates are open for Ronny bashing.

ronny over diving on a ball?

some players couldnt have even gotten to it. if that ball got through, the runner probably would have went to third.

The condition of the field and the dark cloudy sky certainly didn’t help any of the Buccos yesterday.
