Justin Upton was the first overall pick, and the first round also featured Ryan Braun, Ryan Zimmerman, Troy Tulowitzki, Jay Bruce, Matt Garza, Colby Rasmus, and a bunch of other useful players. Brisbee thinks the key competition for 2005 is the 1985 draft, in which the Pirates picked Barry Bonds No. 6 overall.
