After reading through some fan reports I read something I found troubling. Apparently Tony Sanchez doesn't have much of a hose behind the plate, just yesterday he went 1/7 on runners stealing. Being the skeptic that I am, I did a little research on baseball reference and came up with the following results when comparing Tony Sanchez's arm (based soley on career minor league Caught Stealing %) to other recent catching prospects and Ryan Doumit. Here were the results:

Not exactly the defensive stud I thought I had been reading about. Now I realize that the pitcher plays a role in all of this, but his rate is well below the others, and is at 17% on the year. Either way, not the results I was expecting.
