Brad Lincoln dominated the Bisons for seven innings in his last outing. Lincoln continued on his trend of striking out a lot of batters, and this time also kept hard contact to a minimum. In fact, if it weren't for some defensive gaffes in the field, his outing would look even better, as two of the four hits against him came on batters who should have been retired if it weren’t for his teammates’ defensive problems. He tired a bit in his last inning, which is when his lone walk occurred, but was able to get through it with only some hard outs.
The knock on Lincoln has been his straight fastball and inability to throw the curve for strikes. How do you think he’s coming on improving those issues? Could he be the next in line for a Pittsburgh tryout?
