Is Gift Ngoepe a legit prospect? 

I remember reading Dejan K's piece about the kid and his journey to the our org.  He immediately became one of my favorite people, forget players.  The kid has the right attitiude, works hard to be a good teammate (to all staff members) and is so far from home that he deserves to have his dream fulfilled.

It seems his bat is finally starting to develop, as evidenced by his line this year...

He's 21, so he's kinda at that point where you could ask if it's his age or his development that is helping him to develop his bat.

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to my initial question, but can somebody make a case for him...Bueller?
