The West Virginia Power appear to have found a solution for the problem of finding enough innings for their many pitching prospects - just play forever! The Power lost to Delmarva 5-4 in a five-hour, 19-inning game. Four Power pitchers (Zack Von Rosenberg, Zachary Fuesser, Porfirio Lopez and Kevin Decker) pitched three innings or more. And they all pitched pretty well - Von Rosenberg's start was his first of the season in which he didn't allow either five-plus runs or at least one home run.
Offensively, the Power were pretty dreadful, with Mel Rojas and Dan Grovatt going 1-for-8. Matt Curry, as is typical, had the best night of any offensive player, going 2-for-5 with a double, a homer and three walks.
