The biggest breakout season in the Pirates' farm system this year just got a little bit better. Kyle McPherson took a no-hitter into the ninth inning against Brevard County on Tuesday before allowing a one-out homer to Sean McCraw. McPherson had six strikeouts and one walk. He now has 55 strikeouts and six walks on the year. Here's the MiLB.com recap.

McPherson also threw seven no-hit innings in one start last year before reaching his pitch limit and being removed.
