Verducci of SI wrote a nice piece on the odds against young arms making it to the show. The article is at http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/tom_verducci/06/10/yankees.pitchers/index.html?eref=sihp&sct=hp_wr_a1
So as long as we give each of them a separate nickname see caballito, el, Jameson Tie-one-on, Doddy Doddy I like to party, Rudy Ownsyah, Justin Wilstrikeyouthefoutson or even Bryan "only pitching prospect not named Zack" Morris we maybe able to avoid the injury bug.
I will say that I believe we have this handled. As lame as it is when you drive an hour and a half to only get to see 4 innings of a top prospect pitch, I can't think of any of them to have major injuries that weren't drafed hurt (Inman) or acquired via trade (Ascancio, Hart, Hansen).
Thoughts? Also, feel free to post better nicknames in the comments, I double dare ya
