......How easily and how affordably the Pirates could have had JJ Hardy this past season.  He's only six months older than Cedeno, and while Ronny has improved defensively this year and even with his plate discipline, Hardy is infinitely better with the bat.    This McKenry, Cedeno, pitcher sequence in our batting order is so insanely depressing. 298/365/516 vs 226/281/321.  The fact that JJ's OB% is 45 points higher than Ronny's SLUG% says it all.
