With Jameson Taillon starting, tonight seemed like a good one for a minor-league open thread, even though we've also got a major-league game.

Taillon pitches for West Virginia in Lexington at 7:05 PM. Taillon has only four walks in his first seven pro starts and is coming off a strong outing against Hickory in which he struck out four, walked none, and allowed no runs in five innings.

In Bradenton, Quinton Miller starts against Brevard County at 7:00. Miller has allowed a ridiculous 70 hits in 46.2 innings this year.

Jared Hughes starts for Altoona as the Curve hosts Portland at 7:00.

Finally, Brad Lincoln and Indianapolis host Columbus at 7:15. Lincoln got hit hard in his last start, against Pawtucket, but has posted excellent peripheral numbers all season, with 54 strikeouts against 11 walks so far in 57.1 innings.
