so how is Ronny Cedeno doing at Indy?
I never thought I'd say this, but the Pirates really need Cedeno back sooner rather than later.
No offense to Chase d'Arnaud, but his D (7 errors in 21 games) rates an F so far. He clearly needs some more seasoning at AAA.

Ronny did play in the field today. He had been DHing. He was 0-for-5 with 2Ks.
Pearce played 3B today while Alvarez was the DH. Pedro was 0-for-4 with a BB and 2 K. Pearce was 1-for-4 with 2K.
Ronny is hitting .267 as is Pearce. Alvarez is at .340.
Brad Lincoln was the starter today and went 6 innings allowing 5 hits 1 rub while walking three and recording just one strikeout. Moskos pitched two scoreless.
Indians lost 3-2 in 10.
Also should mention Ronny was lifted at the end of the game for a defensive replacement. JRod came in at 2B and Mercer shifted to SS.
COuldn't agree with you more
Sad thing is Chase’s defense has been better than his offense. Ronny, whilre far from perfect, is a definite upgrade, especially if he plays defense like his did before the injury and will at least will be solid for a #7 hole hitter, batting somewhere around. 250.
Too bad the Bucs aren’t loaded with cash – I know its a pipe dream but imagine how much better the overall team would instantly get if we could trade for Jose Reyes. Now the Mets have pulled him trade consideration.
